We offered our AI applications workshop to computing students from St. Joseph’s Institution International in Singapore! With prior Python programming experience, it was heartening to see high school students developing AI applications in computer vision and speech interactions using open source ROS-based software!
Sabah is a special place in Malaysia with rich natural resources. With the setting up of Kolej Komuniti Papar, the government aspires to bring digital education to the diverse communities in the state. We are glad to be invited recently to conduct a 2-day AI applications workshop for the lecturers of the college. Look forward to more collaborations in practical AI education for Sabah!

We were delighted to participate at Faculty of Computing Research & Innovation Day (FCRI 2025) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)! It was an enjoyable experience to exchange thoughts on AI and emerging technologies with aspiring computing students, lecturers and professionals. Thanks to the Faculty of Computing UTM!
We were honoured to be invited by Nilai University to conduct a 2-day AI applications workshop for the Faculty of Aviation, Science and Technology, covering an introduction to ROS with an overview of open source computer vision and speech interactions modules!! For the first time, in our computer vision module, we included Vision-Language Models (VLM) to our applications development and the results were fantastic! Thanks to the lecturers from both the School of Computing and School of Applied Sciences for making this workshop a truly enjoyable one!
We recently participated in “Harvard – EdUHK – Stanford Joint Symposium: Emerging Technologies and Future Talents” at the Education University of Hong Kong! Enjoyed the interesting conversations we had with fellow educators on technology education!
We are glad to be back at FOSSASIA Summit 2025 in Bangkok on 13-15 March! As an avid supporter of open source softwares and resources, we had great fun interacting with like-minded participants over the great 3 days!
We recently conducted our AI applications workshop at i-CATS University College, Sarawak, Malaysia! We are amazed by the enthusiastic participation of the team of the Faculty of Computing and Software Engineering lecturers in developing AI applications in computer vision and speech interactions. Seeing the current rapid AI development, we included ChatGPT in our speech module to expose students to powerful AI applications that can be developed with real world hardware system!
As we wrap up the year 2024, we reflect on our experience participating in the recent AI Talent Development Seminar organised by the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, University Technology Malaysia (UTM). We are thankful for the invitation to exchange our thoughts in practical AI talent development. Over the two days, it is heartening to witness universities and institutions engaging in conversations in developing a holistic AI talent strategy for the nation.
Motivated and energised, we look forward to an even more exciting 2025!
We are humbled by the continuous trust by Universiti Sains Malaysia in our AI robotics education solutions! After months of preparation, we are very glad to deliver our Jupiter2 and Juno2 to the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Engineering Campus! Through a 3-day training workshop, we worked with the engineering lecturers and staffs with full enthusiasm.
Thanks USM again and we are looking forward to a closer collaboration in 2025!
