I attended the Lattel Robotics AI Robotics Workshop in January and February 2021.
The workshop has the theory necessary to understand the practical exercises. The Jupiter robot solves the great problem of having different mobile robot platforms and the difficulty of integrating the components and packages in them.

Lattel Robotics did an amazing job of instructing our diverse robotics research team comprised of: faculty, graduate students and high school students for 5 days virtually in July 2021. The presentation and introduction to AI topics scaffold in a comprehensive fashion that enable all participants to obtain a concrete foundation of AI. Dr. Tan’s ability to explain abstract programming concepts in a simplistic, digestible, and visual way reduced the learning curve for understanding the functionalities of the Jupiter Robot. At the end of the workshop our team was able to program Jupiter to perform various tasks. We see great potential with this robotic platform and having the sessions recorded will enable us to conduct our research.
